Our German Shepherds are primarily from homes that can no longer keep them for a
variety of reasons: divorce, illness or death of owner, moving, allergies, lack of
commitment, abuse and general lack of knowledge about the breed. We also have German
Shepherds that were found as strays or were obtained from shelters.
From 8 week old puppies to senior citizens, Black & Tan, Black & Red, solid
Black, White and Sables, males and females, long coats and short coats - we have many
wonderful German Shepherds available for adoption.
Most of our German Shepherds are in their original homes until adopted. Others are in
foster homes with our volunteers or kenneled with local veterinarians or boarding
facilities. While some facilities can donate their space, others aren't able and the
Rescue group has to pay for boarding.
All dogs are evaluated for temperament and health before matching with their new human
companions.
Please take a few moments and read about the German Shepherds that are looking for good
homes!
We are always looking for good foster homes as well. If you would be interested in
being a foster home, or want to know what's involved in being a foster home, please contact us for more information.
