Our adoption fees help to defray our expenses for mandatory spay/neutering, vaccinations, and any necessary health care (prior to adoption) of all dogs.

The adoption fees are:

• $175 for dogs up to the age of 5 years old
• $150 for 6 and 7 year old dogs
• $87.50 for dogs 8 years and older
• Seniors For Seniors program - qualified seniors can adopt dogs 9 and older free of charge and our rescue group will help offset any medical costs in regards to the dog for the remainder of their life

The new owner signs a contract that they are responsible for the dog, will provide adequate care, never keep it on a chain and will return the dog to German Shepherd Breed Rescue if they EVER cannot keep the dog.   

Within a few weeks after the adoption, one of our volunteers makes a home visit to see how the dog and family are adjusting.

We are always available for help with training, housebreaking or other issues that may occur.

If you are interested in a particular dog, fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION and note on the top of the first page the name of the dog you are interested in.
